1.6.2, November 2026
- Shorter Bulk cooling pauses, with a reason: When reading Keepa's saved data slows down on your computer, Bulk now pauses for 10 seconds at first instead of 20, and the chip says why. A new Bulk cooling pauses setting (Auto or Off) lets you skip the pauses, and each pause shows up in the scan log.
- See your scanning pace: The Bulk progress count now shows how many ASINs a minute the scanner reads while it is actually scanning, next to the overall rate for the run.
- Velocity passes on either source: With Sales DNA as your velocity source, Step 1 now passes when either Sales DNA or Amazon's bought in past month badge meets its minimum, and the tooltip says which one carried it. When Sales DNA has no sellers to read on a listing, Step 1 uses the badge instead.
- Offer counts read 0 when sellers leave: When every FBA seller leaves a listing, the offer count now reads 0 instead of the last count before they left.
- Stock above 1,000 counts: A seller holding more than 1,000 units is now read as real stock in Sales DNA, Days of Cover and the Offers Table. Only Keepa's exact cap readings (999, 1,000 and 99,999) are set aside.
- Old bought badges count for less: In Variation Confidence, a bought badge that has lapsed keeps full weight for 30 days, half to 60 days, and a quarter after that, so a variation that sold well months ago no longer outranks one selling today.
- Panel on sponsored product pages: The panel now loads on product pages you reach from Amazon's sponsored product carousels.
- Cancel Subscription in Settings: A Cancel Subscription button next to Manage Subscription takes you straight to the cancel step.
- New support address: Reach us at support at profitzones dot app. Upgrade and terms links now open profitzones.app.
1.6.1, October 2026
- A clearer Sales DNA hover: Hover a cell and it now says what sold, "N+ sold at this price", or "No estimated sales at this price". Units that left stock but are not counted as sales get their own line instead of an unexplained "(up to N)", and a new bottom line gives that day's total across all prices.
- Sold at Keepa's Buy Box price: The Sales DNA detail adds a row with how many of the units sold were at Keepa's Buy Box price over the window, following your range and channel.
- Seller names open their Keepa page: Click a seller in the Sales DNA sellers list to open that seller on Keepa, using your Seller links setting, the same as the Offers Table.
- One set of words: The panel, the hover, Bulk and Settings now all say "sold", "left stock" and "estimated", and every Sales DNA view ends with "Estimated, not proof of sales."
- Show or Hide the price stems: The Sold over Keepa Buy Box chip above the chart now says Show or Hide and looks pressed while the price stems are on, so it is clear a second click turns them off.
- Your seller ID on the chart is Premium: Seeing your own sales called out on the Sales DNA chart now needs Premium. Your saved seller ID stays saved without it and comes back on when you upgrade.
1.6.0, October 2026
- Sales DNA (free for a limited time): Keepa keeps an inventory log for every seller it has tracked on a listing, including sellers who have since left. Sales DNA reads them all and shows where units actually moved, at what price, against your break-even and target. Switch the chart from Recorded Buy Box to Sales DNA to see the field: price up through your Profit Zones, days across, each cell lit by the units estimated sold there. Hover a cell for the day, the price, the units and who moved them. Expand it for the ladder of top prices, the 90-day strip and the sellers list. Every count is a floor with a plus, evidence of sales at a price, not proof. It uses data Profit Zones already gets from Keepa, with no extra tokens.
- Zone Heat and Show sales: Field cells heat inside their own zone's color by units, so the busiest prices stand out. Turn on the Show sales chip to put the same Sales DNA ticks on the classic Recorded Buy Box chart.
- Sold over Keepa's Buy Box: A chip above the chart counts the units that sold at least your amount over Keepa's recorded Buy Box (Settings: $0.25 or 5% by default), and gap stems on the chart show each one, from Keepa's Buy Box up to the sale price. Hover a stem for the date, the sale price and the gap. When nothing sold over, the chip says 0 so you know it was checked.
- Pick your velocity source: Step 1 of the 3-Step Check can now read Sales DNA instead of Amazon's bought in past month badge, so a listing under Amazon's 50 a month badge can still show real movement. Each source keeps its own minimum. The share card's Velocity tile follows the source you picked, and Share as image prints the chart view on screen, the Sales DNA field included.
- Sales DNA in Bulk: Every result card carries a Sales DNA badge, a flag when units sold over Keepa's Buy Box, and a switch that turns every card into its Sales DNA field. New filters for Sales DNA Velocity and Sold over Keepa Buy Box, new sorts, and Sales DNA columns in the CSV. Still zero tokens by default.
- Auto price rows: The Sales DNA field picks its own price rows per listing, so a wide price range does not read thin and a narrow one does not read chunky. You can still set a fixed row size in Settings or in the expanded view.
- Info pills before a cost: Offer counts, Offer Spike, Hidden Seller, Variations and Box Filler now show as soon as the panel loads, before you enter a COGS.
- Purchase limits read from Keepa: Profit Zones now reads Keepa's own purchase-limit record for every seller, so a per-customer limit is never mistaken for stock or for sales in Sales DNA, the Offers Table or Days of Cover. A limited offer's stock reads "limit / customer".
- Seller Central inventory is Premium: Your FBA inventory by fulfillment center, units in transit and Your Price are part of Premium. The sell eligibility check stays free for everyone.
- Fixes: The light theme chart sits on a soft gray well, with the Sold over Keepa Buy Box stems in dark ink. The Recorded Buy Box hover names the fallback price where Keepa recorded no Buy Box. The Recorded Buy Box hover, threshold bar and ROI axis use the peak-season FBA fee. A Bulk scan opened on a later day re-prices at that day's fees. The panel's 3-Step Check uses the tiered referral fee.
1.5.1, October 2026
- Small Bulky and Large Bulky fees: Amazon split the old bulky tier in two for 2026, and Profit Zones now prices both the way Amazon does, with the 2026 base fees and a separate peak surcharge for each. That matters now, because Q4 peak fees start October 15. Before, every bulky item was priced on the old single bulky rate, so bulky fees read high, most of all on Small Bulky items.
- See the size tier: Hover the FBA fee or the Dim weight and the tooltip names the FBA size tier the fee used and which weight it is billed on, so you can check the fee at a glance.
- Profit Zones identifies itself on Amazon too: The Amazon requests Profit Zones starts on its own now carry an Agent tag with our name, the same tag its Seller Central requests carry under Amazon's Agent Policy. That covers the Offers Table's seller lookups and the product pages the Bulk Analyzer opens in its scanner window. Pages you open or click yourself are never tagged, and nothing new is sent to us.
- Bulk scans pause at a human check and wait for you: If Amazon asks the scanner window to prove a person is there, the whole scan pauses, the window comes to the front, and a banner tells you what to do. Solve it yourself and the scan picks up on the same ASIN. Profit Zones never solves or skips a human check, and that ASIN is retried, not counted as a miss. You can also Resume or Stop by hand, and a stopped scan can be resumed later.
- 30D and 90D moved, counted like Keepa: The Offers Table now counts every drop in a seller's stock across the window, including the drop from the level they held going in, which is how Keepa counts it. Sellers that showed "not read" when they were clearly moving stock now show a number, and a seller with too little history reads "not read" instead of a confident zero.
- Days of Cover counts what the Offers Table counts: The cover pill and the Offers Table now read each seller with the same measurement, so the pill can no longer say "No observed sales" while the table beside it shows sellers moving units.
- Open Bulk Analyzer from the toolbar: The Profit Zones popup has an Open Bulk Analyzer button. If the analyzer is already open, it takes you to that tab instead of opening a second one.
- Calculator COGS is labeled, and yours wins: When another calculator extension fills your COGS, the field says "From calculator" so you know where the number came from, and its x clears it. A new switch on Profit Settings, Enable third-party calculator, turns the fill off. A calculator fill is no longer saved as your COGS, and a cost you type for an ASIN now stays put on reload instead of being replaced by the calculator's number. Costs typed before this update need one retype to get that protection.
- Buy Box by Metro: store names and working hovers: When a third-party seller holds a metro's Buy Box, the map dot's hover names the store, and hovering the FBA or FBM pill in the list does too. Map dot, fulfillment center and sub-city hovers show their info again (they had stopped showing anything). Click a dot to keep its info on screen while you look around, and click again or click the empty map to let it go.
- Price chart labels read true on tight ranges: When a product's price barely moves, the price axis used to round every label to whole dollars and repeat itself ($12, $12, $11, $11). Now each label is a different whole-dollar price, drawn at its true height.
1.5.0, October 2026
- Offers & Sales chart: A second chart now sits under the price chart, closed until you open it and remembered after that. It draws FBA offers and FBM offers on a count axis on the left and Monthly sold on its own axis on the right, so you can see sellers piling in or leaving next to how fast the product sells. Monthly sold breaks wherever Amazon shows no bought badge (under 50 a month). Hovering either chart moves one crosshair and one tooltip across both, the expanded chart shows the two stacked, and a chip toggles each line. Keepa only began recording FBA and FBM offer counts separately on February 23, 2026, so those two lines start there on longer ranges.
- Used price line: Switch on the Used price chip to add the lowest Used price to the price chart as a dashed line. It breaks while nobody is selling used, instead of holding a stale price across the gap.
- Wider side column in Embedded: A slim toggle at the top of the Embedded layout's side column widens it by a quarter, so seller names and the Offers table have room. Your choice is remembered.
- Hidden Seller alert is stricter: Low Offers now needs 100 or more sold per offer before it fires, which ends false amber alerts on a listing selling 50 a month across one or two FBA offers. At 200 or more a month, Profit Zones checks whether the visible FBA sellers' stock burn-down accounts for the sales, and it only warns when it does not. A listing Amazon sells on skips the test.
- Fixes: The layout you pick from the panel's own menu (Docked Left, Docked Right or Embedded) now survives a reload; before, only a choice made in Settings stuck. The light theme paints its Profit Zones in the same colors as the dark theme. Chart toggles are clickable chips on their own row above the range buttons. The expanded chart's tooltip no longer hides behind the window, and the expanded chart fits a short screen with the range buttons in view, including in the light theme. In Embedded, the Offers table's filter buttons wrap instead of pushing the expand button out of sight. Estimated storage for standard-size items from January to September uses Amazon's $0.78 per cubic foot rate (it read a stale $0.87); the October to December rate is unchanged.
1.4.0, September 2026
- Expand the price chart: A small expand control sits in the top right corner of the chart in every panel layout and opens the same live chart in a large centered window, with your Profit Zones, zoom, hover and the range buttons all working exactly as they do in the panel. It is always visible, never covers a price label, and takes no extra height from the panel. Close it with the X, a click outside, or Escape. The range buttons below the chart now sit centered and wrap onto a second line in a narrow panel instead of running past its edge.
- Your variation is pinned to the top: On a long family you no longer scroll to find your own row. Unless it already ranks in the top five, Variation Confidence copies your row, with its tier, score and family rank, to the top of the chart and the table above a divider, and it still appears in its true place below. A tier filter that leaves your row out now pins it on top as well.
- Offer turnover is scored against the family: Every variation whose offers turned over faster than 1.0x used to collect the full 15 points, so a child cycling 60 times scored the same as one at 1.8x. Turnover now reads like review share: under 0.5x earns nothing, and above it the points come from where the child sits in its own family's range, from 15 at the top down to 5 at the bottom. A strong mover in a quiet family finally scores like one.
- Buy Box by Metro explains itself: When Amazon shows no Buy Box but the listing has live offers, the widget reads "No Buy Box" with the offer count and lowest price, and the metro flyout lists the cheapest offers by landed price with a link to Amazon's offer page instead of an empty map. A listing Amazon does not have, or one with no purchasable offer, now says so in plain words. When Amazon quotes a delivery window rather than a single day, the list and map show the window, such as 10-12d.
- Profit Zones identifies itself to Seller Central: Amazon's Agent Policy asks software that works in Seller Central on your behalf to say what it is. No later than October 1, 2026, the Seller Central requests Profit Zones makes for you (eligibility, inventory and your price) add an Agent tag with our name to your browser's normal user agent. Nothing else changes: your own Seller Central tabs, Amazon product pages and Keepa are untouched, Profit Zones still reads Seller Central only after you authorize it, and nothing new is sent to us. Chrome lists this under a new permission that shows no install warning.
1.3.1, September 2026
- Variation Confidence says when it cannot rank a family: Some listings carry no evidence about which child sells. No variation shows an Amazon bought badge, and nearly every one scores the same. The panel used to hand out tiers anyway, and one real listing put 88 of its 92 children in High. A family like that now leads with a banner saying the ranking is off and why, every child reads Unranked in gray rather than the Very Low red, and the scores stay on screen so you can still read the turnover. A child with a mark against it still reads Very Low, because a dead variation is provable without a badge. A family whose scores do separate is ranked as before, however thin the evidence, with a line naming what the ranking rests on when no badge is anywhere in the family.
- The bought badge follows your 3-Step velocity window: A badge that has lapsed still passes your 3-Step Check when your velocity setting reads a period instead of today, so scoring that child as though it never sold contradicted the page you were on. Variation Confidence now reads the badge the way your 3-Step Check does: today's number in current mode, or the best badge inside your selected period. A badge that only the history carries is labeled "last seen N days ago", and the panel says the points were counted from your velocity window rather than from a live Amazon figure.
- "No listed offer" means 30 days at zero, not a stockout: The 40-point mark that forces a variation to Very Low used to fire on zero offers at scan time, so a bestseller that sold out last week was written off as discontinued. It now needs the offer history to sit at zero for 30 days or more, a seller listed right now overrides a lagging history, and missing history reads as unknown instead of zero. Stale offers reads turnover alone and skips a child that is simply out of stock today.
- The variation you are on is always on screen, and it says YOU: The chart draws 60 rows and the family reads at most 120 children, so on a big listing the child you were looking at could be missing from both. It is now pinned below a divider with its rank, keeps its real name past the child cap instead of falling back to a bare ASIN, and sits in a box stroked in its own tier color with a YOU mark in the chart, the table and the ring legend. Every "#N of M" counts scored variations, so the four places that print a rank agree with each other. Pinning it never changes the family's cache key, which used to cost some child pages a full rescan.
- A saved scan reads exactly like the scan did, and you can rescan it: A large family saved to the 24-hour cache was trimmed to fit, and replaying that trimmed history rescored it: one listing scored a child +20, Low, #80 during the scan and -10, Very Low, #117 when reopened an hour later. A cached family now keeps every point the scorer actually reads, and the scan and every replay score at the moment the family was fetched, so they agree by construction. A Rescan button in the Variations header prices a fresh scan through the usual consent card: nothing is spent until you approve, Keep these results puts you back where you were, and a rescan cut short by a Keepa rate limit keeps your saved results with a note.
- Tier tiles filter, and the consent card shows your Keepa balance: Click HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW or VERY LOW to narrow the chart, the table and the Reviews ring to that tier, and click it again, or Clear, to go back to the whole family. The child you are on is never filtered away: it pins last with its full-family rank. The Score and Rescan cards now read your Keepa token balance from Keepa's free balance endpoint and show it under the cost, turning amber with the shortfall and the refill time when a scan costs more than you have, though it never blocks you from approving. Also: a +100 score label no longer runs off the right edge of the chart, and the console error a leftover content script threw after an extension reload is silenced.
1.3.0, September 2026
- Variation Confidence: The parent is lying to you. Not on purpose. But it is.
You pull up a listing. Rank looks great. Twenty-seven colors. And every single one of them wears the same rank, because Keepa reports the parent's number on the children. The "bought in past month" badge helps, but it only shows on colors doing 50 or more a month. A blank just means under 50. You are looking at a family photo and trying to guess who does the dishes.
So you do what most people do. You guess.
Some sellers even walk away from the whole listing. That is a family where three colors may be printing money, and you left all of it on the table because you couldn't tell which three. Others play it safe, buying a little of five colors because they can't tell which one sells, and end up paying Q4 storage on the four that didn't. Safe is a funny word for two SKUs sitting in an Amazon warehouse through Q4, paying rent, while the one color that mattered sold out before your shipment landed. Either way, the hidden cost is the same: you may be paying tuition to find out what the data already knew.
One click on any child page and the entire family gets scored on three signals that belong to each child alone. One hundred points on the table:
- Bought in past month: Amazon's badge on that child. Not the parent. The child.
- Reviews gained: Each child's slice of the family's reviews over the last 6 months. People review what they actually bought.
- Offer turnover: Sellers cycling in and out of stock on that child over 90 days. Inventory that turns is inventory that sells.
Every variation lands in a Confidence Tier. High, Medium, Low, Very Low. The family's leader is always green, because a listing with any pulse has at least one child driving it, and now you know which. A ring chart shows exactly who is collecting the reviews. And every score comes with its receipts, in plain English, so you can see why the black one won and the seafoam one didn't.
It asks before it spends a single Keepa token and one scan covers the whole family for 24 hours, on every child page.
Stop buying the family. Buy the kid who sells.
- Review history for Variations is opt-in: Keepa bills review history as a second token per product, so a family scan reads it only when you say so. Turn on "Variations: include review history" in Display Options and a scan costs two tokens per uncached child instead of one; the consent card quotes the tokens before you approve, and the daily token counter ticks twice per child. Off, the Reviews ring reads that the history was not read rather than claiming the family gained nothing.
- Buy Box Winner History: A fourth tab, Buy Box, in Seller Intel (the table behind the Days of Cover pill) shows who held Keepa's Buy Box over the last 90 days, weighted by time held, never by how many times they won it. A donut sits beside a table of seller, share, average price while holding and last won: the top 8 sellers by name, with Amazon, No Buy Box and New seller as their own rows and the rest folded into Others. Store names fill in through the same profile sweep that names the offers, stored ratings refresh weekly so a month-old percentage never poses as live, and a CSV button exports the rows you see. It reads Keepa's record of the holder across the whole US, so it is a different view from Buy Box by Metro.
- The panel follows variation switches: Click a different color or size and Amazon swaps the product without reloading the page. Profit Zones used to keep describing the child you left; it now notices the switch and re-describes the child you are on, keeping your typed COGS and never reloading the tab. Buy Box Spread is held on a switch, since every lookup is metered: the widget offers a one-click "Check this variation" instead of spending a lookup on every color you click through.
- Bulk Analyzer: + Add joins the running scan: Adding ASINs mid-scan appends them to the live batch instead of starting a second scanner. They join whichever tier is running, so they get the zero-token passes first and are counted in the API estimate before anything is spent. The upload and mapping steps open in a modal over your results instead of splitting the screen, and the Resume and Last Scan prompts are modal too, so that decision comes before anything else can start.
- Bulk Analyzer: scan log: A Log button beside Export opens a drawer listing every ASIN with the method that fetched it (cache, scanner, API), the outcome and the tokens it cost, plus the life of the batch: start, appends, API approvals, pauses, resumes, cancel and complete. Filter by method, newest first, export it as CSV. It is saved with the batch and travels inside .ppz files.
- Bulk Analyzer: your full fee library on every card: Each card now resolves your Custom Fee Library per ASIN the same way the panel does: per-unit, per-pound, tiered and remembered picks included, from Keepa's pack quantity and billable weight. Hover the Fixed cell for the applied lines; it reads "Fixed ยท check" in amber only when a tier resolved on an assumed pack quantity, and the CSV gains Fixed Costs and Fee Basis columns. The "panel-only fees not incl." marker is gone.
- Placement fee lives in the fee library: The Placement Fee $/unit box in Profit Settings is retired. Placement is a fee, so it belongs with your other fees: a value you had set there is carried over once as an always-on "Placement fee" entry in your default set, unless your library already had a placement entry, in which case nothing is added, because that combination was being charged twice. Inbound is shipping only now, on the panel, the share card and bulk cards.
- Seller Intel: open the storefront and the overview together: A new switch under "Store name opens": with a Product Finder target selected, a store-name click opens the Finder storefront in front and that seller's Keepa Seller Overview behind it, in one click.
- Buy Box Spread says when it is still looking: The widget reads "Scanning N markets" with a pulse from first paint until the lookup settles, instead of a premature "No metro data". And when a newer Profit Zones is approved or rolling out, the update bar on the panel is one click to a bundled help page that walks you to chrome://extensions and the Update button; the Next Release card in Settings gains "How to update now".
- 3-Step Check: a tier that cannot apply is n/a, not a warning: A tier group whose tiers all start above this listing's real pack quantity (2+ and 3+ prep tiers on a 1-pack, say) has nothing to apply by design. It used to read as an incomplete fee basis and paint an amber CHECK FEES over three green steps on a fully configured install; it now shows a quiet "n/a at 1 unit" chip and the PASS stands. An assumed pack quantity still reads incomplete, on purpose, since the assumption could be hiding a tier.
- Map labels no longer cross: Miami and Tampa callouts rendered crossed on the map in Buy Box by Metro because a label sitting exactly on its own pin's margin was rejected by a hair of floating-point rounding. The collision test now carries a slack far below a pixel; the other 16 metros are placed exactly as before.
- Profit Zones no longer stops caching after a few dozen products: Chrome gives the extension 10 MB, every product you view adds a cache entry, and nothing cleared them between releases. Once the store filled, every new write was refused silently, so features like Variation Confidence re-bought data they had already paid for. The product cache now sweeps itself when full, dropping stale and week-old entries first, so cached data keeps working between releases.
1.2.0, September 2026
- Your own fee library: Prep, labels, bubble wrap, polybags, a 3PL charge: build them once in the new Custom Fees tab and Profit Zones applies them to every listing. Each fee can be a flat amount, an amount per unit, or an amount per pound of billable weight, and a fee can carry quantity tiers so a 3-pack costs what a 3-pack costs. Keep several sets and switch between them, or flip the No Prep switch when you are not paying for prep at all. Your old Fixed Costs $ figure is carried over once as an always-on fee, so nothing changes until you say so.
- Fees sit on the panel where the cost inputs are: A Fees pill replaces the Fixed $ box and shows what is being charged to this listing. Click it for the full breakdown: every fee that applied, switches for the optional ones, and the tier that matched, with the pack quantity we detected named on the chip so a wrong read is visible at a glance. Change something and the Profit Zones repaint instantly. Your choices are remembered for that ASIN and come back the next time you open it.
- Placement fee: Amazon's inbound placement charge now has its own $ per unit box beside Inbound Ship. It is folded into the Inbound figure on the panel, the share card and bulk cards, and hovering Inbound breaks the two apart so you can still see which is which.
- Terms of service: Profit Zones now asks you to agree to the terms of service before Premium keeps running, with a link to read them in full first. You can accept ahead of time from the panel or from Settings; once the agreement is required, an unanswered agreement turns Premium off until you answer.
- Settings page rebuilt: Six tabs (Keys & Licenses, Profit Settings, Custom Fees, Display Options, Premium Settings, Help) instead of one long scroll, with a save bar that follows you down the page and panel colors that match the panel itself. The Premium tab is now visible to everyone behind a frosted lock instead of being hidden, so you can see what a subscription includes.
- Amazon's $0.30 minimum referral fee: On amazon.com and amazon.ca, Amazon charges at least $0.30 per item in referral fees no matter how cheap the item is. Break-even, your target price, the fee hover and the Bulk Analyzer all honor that floor now. Items above roughly $4 are unchanged to the cent; low-priced items get a truer number.
- Buy Box Spread alert: Set the spread you care about (default $1.00) in Premium Settings. When a product's metro spread reaches it, your Buy Box Spread value turns green with a leading star, and the tooltip names the threshold it beat.
- FBA and FBM on the map in Buy Box by Metro: Every third-party metro used to be badged FBA. The map and the metro list now read the fulfillment method per market straight from the pricing data: FBA, FBM in its own pill, or no badge when it cannot be read. Delivery days show as "5d+" when a faster option existed but its date could not be read, rather than quietly rounding.
- Scan limits say which limit: A GeoPrice quota message now names the window it actually hit, daily or monthly, with a reset time for a daily cap and a reset date for a monthly one, instead of always saying "monthly". Settings shows a credit meter for plans that have one, and the upgrade card lets you pick a top-up pack before it sends you to checkout.
- Seller Intel: The moved column now reads 30d/90d, so a seller's last month sits next to their last quarter, and the CSV gains a 90d Moved column. Choose what a store name opens: that seller's Keepa Seller Overview, or Keepa Product Finder filtered to their listings, their listings where Amazon is out of stock, or those selling 50+ a month. Any row can be forced into the Days of Cover count with a per-row switch, the table pops out to a full-width overlay for long seller names, and the CSV fulfillment header is now spelled "Fulfillment".
- Bulk Analyzer picks up where it left off: Reloading mid-scan and hitting Resume used to finish with only the rows completed before the reload; every row now survives. A one-off Seller Central hiccup no longer ends the whole gating sweep and leaves hundreds of ASINs Unchecked, and hitting Keepa's rate limit now waits for tokens to refill instead of marking those ASINs failed.
- Bulk Analyzer reads your list properly: A Stock column now understands quantities, Yes/No, TRUE/FALSE and "Not In Stock" instead of only the exact words "in stock". A stray quotation mark in a product name no longer silently swallows the rest of the file, tab and semicolon separated files are detected, .tsv files work, and rows added with + Add keep their own identity instead of overwriting an earlier row. Exported cells that start with = + - or @ are neutralized so a seller name can never run as a formula in Excel or Sheets.
- Copy buttons say what happened: Copy ASIN and Copy product data flip to "Copied!" under your cursor, and say "Copy failed" when the browser refuses (usually because the page is not focused) instead of failing silently.
- Security and privacy hardening: A full review of the extension tightened escaping and URL checks throughout: product titles, seller names and anything a server sends us are escaped before they reach the page, and links and fetches must be https to a host we expect. One permission we no longer use was removed from the extension.
1.1.0, August 2026
- Offers Table (Premium, part of Stock Gap Beta): Click the Days of Cover pill and the seller list behind it is now a full table: every live offer with its price, its stock reading and how fresh that reading is, the units that left that seller's stock over the last 30 days, and whether the offer is counted in the cover number, with the reason when it is not. Offers sit under FBA and FBM section headers with counted sellers on top, plus All / FBA / FBM tabs.
- Seller names and ratings: Rows show the seller's real store name with their 12-month rating count over their lifetime count and their 12-month positive percentage, read from each seller's public Amazon profile in your own session, a few at a time so Amazon never sees a burst. The seller currently winning Keepa's Buy Box is marked with a dot.
- Click through to Keepa: Any seller name opens that seller's Keepa page, straight onto the seller-metrics tab, so the storefront research is one click from the table.
- CSV export: A CSV button downloads exactly the offers you are looking at, filter included, with the full seller ids, both rating windows, the exclusion reasons and a Keepa Seller URL column ready for a sourcing sheet.
- Count FBM in cover, right where it matters: The FBM section header carries the "Count FBM in cover" switch, the same setting as the options page. Flip it and the table's counted grouping and the Days of Cover pill above it both update instantly, no refetch. Changing it here in Settings now reaches an open panel live too, and the panel's flip is the saved setting this page shows.
1.0.2, August 2026
- The page stops getting pushed sideways: With the panel docked, Amazon's page was being shoved twice as far as the panel is wide, leaving a blank strip beside it and pushing the right side of the listing off screen. The page now moves by exactly the panel width, on both Docked Left and Docked Right.
- Buy Box Spread reads properly on hover: In dark mode the metro list came up white on white until you clicked it. Hover and click now show the same dark card. Map view previews on hover as well, instead of only opening on a click, and only a click dims the page behind it.
- No more "$0.00" when there is nothing to show: A metro lookup that came back empty used to print $0.00, which looked exactly like a product priced the same everywhere. Now a real spread shows the spread, metros that all came back at one price read "$24.99 everywhere", and a lookup with no priced metros says "No metro data".
- Break-even shows all four costs: The break-even card was showing FBA and Referral only, while the break-even price was being calculated from FBA, Referral, Inbound and Storage. All four are now listed under an "At Break-Even" heading. Your numbers have not changed, only what you can see.
- "Stock data unavailable" clears itself: That pill could stick for up to half an hour on a product Keepa already had stock for. Profit Zones now re-checks and fills in the days-of-cover reading as soon as it is there, still at zero Keepa tokens.
- Bulk "Fixed" cost matches the scan: A reopened or restored scan showed today's Fixed cost setting next to profit figures worked out with the old one. The Fixed cost is now saved with each result.
1.0.0, August 2026
- Profit Zones 1.0: The core toolkit, the Profit Zones chart, the 3-Step Check, Buy Box by Metro and the Bulk Analyzer, is settled enough to carry a 1.0. Stock Gap Detector and Observed Sales stay marked Beta while their readings are tuned.
- Observed Sales (Premium, part of Stock Gap Beta): Amazon's sold badge is a rounded estimate; stock that actually moved is evidence. Profit Zones now reads each seller's stock changes from the Keepa extension's cache and turns them into an observed sales range for the last 30 days. The days-of-cover pill now appears on every listing with a reading, amber below your threshold and neutral otherwise, and says what the number rests on: verified movement, Unverified, 3P only, or No observed sales when the badge claims units sold but no seller's stock moved (no cover figure is shown in that case). Click the pill for the seller-by-seller detail behind it. In the Bulk Analyzer the Supply Gap badge is withheld when nothing moved, tooltips carry the same evidence tag, the Stock Gap filter gains "Verified movement only", and the CSV gains Observed Sales (30d) and Observed Verdict columns.
- Report a wrong reading: Under the seller list, "Send to Profit Zones support" flags a supply reading that looks off. You see exactly what will travel before anything leaves: ASIN, marketplace, the supply readings, the public seller ids on that listing and the extension version. No license key, email or page URL, and nothing is sent until you click Send.
- COGS remembered per ASIN: The cost you type is saved for that ASIN and restored when you come back, with a small "Saved 12 Aug" hint and a one-click clear. Other cost sources, such as a bulk hand-off, still take priority when present. Stored only on this device, up to 2,000 products.
- The panel holds its ground: When another extension docks on the same side, Profit Zones says so in a notice that stays until you close it. Pick a side and Profit Zones takes that edge; if another extension covers the panel uninvited, Profit Zones moves to the free side once so you can still see it. The Move button is now a dropdown (Docked Left, Docked Right, Embedded) that names which edge another extension is holding.
- Switch theme from the panel: Dark and Light live in the same dropdown and apply instantly, no reload. The light theme got a repaint: clearer card edges, header-blue links, a white chart inset, the range selector inside the chart card, bold weight values, and the token bar now says how many Keepa API tokens were used.
- Richer share card: Days of Cover (Beta), sell-eligibility status and Hazmat or Meltable chips join the badge row, Seller Costs gains a Your Price row when Seller Central knows your listing price (Hide Product Info removes it), and the image is captured at 3x so text stays crisp when it is shared and rescaled. A new "Show Days of Cover on share cards" setting controls the cover chip.
- Finished scans are safe: A completed Bulk Analyzer scan is auto-saved to Downloads as a .ppz file the moment it finishes (switch it off in Settings), and reopening the analyzer offers to restore your last completed scan instead of silently discarding it. Older .ppz exports load cleanly.
- Stock Gap says when it cannot read: Premium users now see a muted "Stock data unavailable" pill instead of an empty space when no stock reading was possible this load, a cached reading survives an API refetch that carries no stock data, freshness is judged by when Keepa last looked at an offer rather than when the stock last changed, and the BETA badge and the 3-Step Check no longer spill past the card at narrow widths.
0.25.0, August 2026
- Stock Gap alert (Premium, Beta): See how many days of cover a product has left, meaning the stock buyers can actually get right now measured against the recent rate of sale. When it drops below your threshold, an amber hourglass appears on the panel and a Supply Gap badge, a sortable Cover column and a Stock Gap filter appear in the Bulk Analyzer. Costs no Keepa tokens. Beta: supply readings on Amazon-held and very fast-moving listings are still being tuned.
- Box Filler alert: Flags items small and light enough to ride along in the spare space of a shipment you were already sending: 40 cubic inches or less, 1 lb or less, and 2 inches or less on the smallest side. Hazmat and heat-sensitive products are never flagged.
- The metro map always draws: Buy Box by Metro now plots every tracked market even when no prices come back or every market shares one price, showing the missing ones as hollow dots instead of an empty map.
- Delivery days on by default: The map's Days overlay now starts switched on, so delivery speed per market is there without hunting for the toggle.
- Your Amazon tabs stop reloading: Premium installs were quietly reloading every open Amazon tab every 15 minutes or so, which wiped any COGS you had typed in. That is gone.
- The metro flyout fills in: Opening the flyout while the spread was still loading used to leave an empty map stuck there. It now fills in the moment the data lands.
- Quieter error card: Leftover warnings from an extension reload no longer pile up on the extension's Errors card.
- Authorize actually authorizes: In the Bulk Analyzer, clearing the Seller Central consent banner now restarts the gating sweep as well as the price sweep, so cards no longer sit on "Unchecked" until a rescan. On the product page, the eligibility lock turns amber and pulses when your one-click authorization is what it is waiting for; click it to grant access for this browser session and re-check.
- Keepa stock data is opt-in: Stock Gap readings come from the Keepa extension's cache at zero tokens. Products that fall back to the paid API can only get a reading if Keepa's stock add-on is bought too, so it is never sent by default: with Supply Gap on, the "Use API tokens?" prompt spells out the extra cost and your Use API click is the approval, for that scan only.
- Stock Gap respects your settings: The panel pill now uses the threshold you set instead of the 14-day default, and in bulk the Days of Cover sort and CSV export use the same figure the card shows when "count FBM stock as supply" is on.
- Bulk badges wrap: Result-card badges wrap onto a new line instead of squeezing and spilling past the card edge.
0.24.1, August 2026
- 3-Step Check setup fixed: If you had your criteria set before the last update, the check no longer asks you to configure settings you already chose. Existing setups are recognized automatically. Reviewing a section and saving now sticks, even when your values match the defaults.
- More Buy Box Spread results: Products read from Keepa's local cache now warm the spread data too, so metro prices appear far more often instead of coming back empty.
0.24.0, August 2026
- Retrieve your FBA inventory: Paste a list of ASINs in the Bulk Analyzer and pull your own FBA inventory from Seller Central straight to a CSV, ready for your repricing sheet. No scan or tokens needed.
- Offer spike filter: Bulk results can now be filtered by offer spikes, and products with a sudden jump in sellers get a red Spike badge on their card so you can spot dogpiles at a glance.
- Know when the 3-Step Check is yours: Steps still running on default settings now show an amber gear instead of a pass or fail, the verdict reads SETUP NEEDED until you have chosen your criteria, and clicking a gear takes you straight to that setting.
- Smarter Save button: Save All Settings stays grayed out until you actually change something, so you always know whether there is anything to save.
- Panel below the Keepa chart: A new opt-in placement renders the embedded panel below the Keepa chart for sellers who want Keepa on top.
- Clearer Capital Protection: The tooltip now spells out that the check counts consecutive in-stock days below break-even and shows the worst run found.
- Email support: The feedback form is now a direct email button that opens your mail client with your license details prefilled.
- Free API key check: Testing your Keepa API key no longer spends a token, and opening Settings never will again.
- Plays nicer with other extensions: The price chart now renders in an isolated container so other Keepa-related extensions cannot collide with it.
0.23.16, July 2026
- More reliable premium: Fixed a rare issue where premium features could stop working until you deactivated and reactivated your license. Premium now stays active reliably.
- Bulk COGS carries over: Opening a product from the bulk analyzer link icons now carries your COGS into the panel automatically.
- Metro dot gradient: Buy Box by Metro dots now shade by price within each Profit Zone, so you can read the spread at a glance. Deeper color means a higher price.
0.23.15, July 2026
- Column headers in the metro list: Buy Box by Metro list view now has a header rail (City, Zip, Price, Sold By, Days, Inv) so every row reads at a glance.
- Sold By pills: Each metro row now shows that metro's Buy Box holder as an AMZ or FBA pill, so Amazon-owned vs third-party FBA markets are obvious down the list.
- Cleaner empty inventory: Metros where you hold no FBA units now show a muted dash in the Inv column instead of a blank space.
- Days pill on the map: A new Days toggle on the metro map shows estimated delivery days right beside each metro's price, color-coded by speed. Off by default; flip it on when you want the delivery picture.
0.23.14, July 2026
- Buy Box by Metro map (BETA): A new Map view in the Spread flyout puts your metro markets on a US map, with per-metro Buy Box prices, owner pills (AMZ/FBA), and green rings showing your own FBA inventory. Toggle between Map and List; scroll to zoom, drag to pan.
- Deliverability Reach overlay: Dashed lanes show what your stock can reach, from every fulfillment center you are stocked in to each metro and 40 additional sub-cities, each linked to its nearest stocked FC. Toggle it with the Reach pill.
- Smart map labels: City names on every market dot, placed by collision avoidance so dense corridors (like the Northeast) stay readable at any zoom.
- Newer FC codes draw lanes too: Fulfillment centers with newer codes (for example SAT3) now produce reach lanes using the same smart matching the inventory badges use, instead of silently disappearing.
- Tooltips fixed inside the flyout: Hover tips for FC badges, seller icons, and map dots now appear above the flyout in both Map and List views.
- New help section: "Buy Box by Metro: How Inventory Mapping Works" below explains how per-FC inventory joins the 18 tracked markets.
0.23.12, June 2026
- See your inventory on every product: Buy Box Spread flyout now opens on every US product, even when there is no price variation between markets, so you can always check where your FBA units are by metro.
- Much wider fulfillment-center coverage: Added around 150 Amazon fulfillment centers, including newer sites and inbound hubs, to the inventory map. Inventory that recently consolidated at a newer center (for example near Indianapolis) now shows in the correct metro instead of disappearing.
- Buy Box seller by metro: Buy Box Spread now shows each market's Buy Box holder (Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh, Warehouse, Amazon, or a third-party seller), with a cue when a metro looks open to other sellers.
- Open Amazon and your source in one click: The link icon on each Bulk Analyzer source now opens both the Amazon listing and the supplier page at once.
- Save and reopen a scan: New "Save Scan" button exports a finished bulk scan to a portable .ppz file. Drop it back in later to restore the whole analyzed session, with every metric, without re-spending Keepa tokens.
0.23.11, June 2026
- Sources grouped under each product: Each ASIN shows one card with a sortable list of its sources (by ROI, profit, or price), the best one tagged. Select and export individual sources.
- Check a source to see its numbers: Checking a source redraws that card's Profit Zones chart and profit/ROI to that source's actual buy cost, so you can compare suppliers at a glance.
0.23.9, June 2026
- Fewer Keepa tokens used: On single-product pages, the panel now waits for the Keepa extension to finish loading before reading its data, so it pulls from Keepa's local cache (free) instead of falling back to a token-charged API lookup. If you have the Keepa extension installed, normal browsing should no longer spend tokens.
- Velocity now shows in the embedded panel: The estimated monthly sales velocity field now appears in the embedded layout, not just the docked panel.
- New install defaults: Fresh installs now open docked on the left in dark theme.
0.23.8, June 2026
- Behind-the-scenes improvements: More reliable delivery and rotation of the footer's promotional banners. No changes to your data or your workflow.
0.23.7, June 2026
- In-transit inventory is now visible: When your FBA units are moving between fulfillment centers (mid-redistribution), they now show up as a distinct in-transit badge at their destination center, instead of appearing as no inventory at all. You see your full on-hand picture even while Amazon is shuffling stock.
- More reliable Seller Central reads: Fixed spurious connection errors that could surface when your Seller Central session was logged out. Inventory and your-price reads now fail cleanly and prompt you to sign in, rather than logging a browser error.
0.23.6, June 2026
- More accurate referral fees: Amazon charges a flat referral fee in most categories but a tiered rate in some (apparel, for example, is 5% up to $15, 10% from $15 to $20, and 17% above $20). A category-mapping error was charging certain apparel, phone, and software listings the wrong rate. That is fixed, so your numbers now match Amazon's published fee schedule.
- Right rate at every price point: Your break-even, your profit-target line, and the hover tooltips now each use the referral rate that actually applies at that price, not just the rate at the current price. This makes a visible difference on tiered categories where break-even sits in a different price band than the live price. Your cache refreshes automatically on first load.
- Bulk gating shows a clear prompt instead of all-locked: In the Bulk Analyzer, if Seller Central access has not been authorized for the session, gating checks now show a one-click Authorize prompt instead of marking every lead as gated. Authorize and re-run to see true gating status.
0.23.4, June 2026
- Clearer note on non-US storefronts: On Amazon marketplaces outside the US, Buy Box Spread now shows a short note that the feature covers US marketplaces (amazon.com) only, instead of appearing empty. Support for Canada and other regions is on the roadmap.
0.23.3, June 2026
- Fixed Costs now save and apply correctly: Fixed Costs entered in Settings now save and apply correctly (a Manifest V3 restriction was silently resetting them to 0). The field still accepts simple math like 1.50+.35.
0.23.2, June 2026
- Inventory pills now show true on-hand: The inventory location pills now show your true current on-hand units per fulfillment center (from the FBA Inventory Ledger), instead of past inbound shipments. Note: ledger placement can trail live Seller Central by 1 to 2 days.
0.23.1, June 2026
- Capital Protection "0 days" now works: Setting Max consecutive days below break-even to 0 now correctly fails any product trading below break-even. It was silently reverting to the default of 10, so a stuck product could still pass.
- Bulk scan count fix: Restarting a scan that pulls from cache no longer double-counts already-scanned products. The "scanned N" total now reflects your real unique product count.
- Smarter multi-source handling in Bulk: When the same ASIN appears from several sources, the analyzer now keeps the single best one: the lowest-cost source that is in stock (when a stock-status column is mapped), instead of listing every source. If none are in stock, it keeps the lowest-cost one.
- Bulk settings open in a new tab: The gear icon in the Bulk Analyzer now opens the token-reserve and API settings in a new tab, so it no longer hides or interrupts a running scan.
- Math in Fixed Costs: The Fixed Costs field now accepts simple math, e.g. type 1.50+.35 and it resolves to 1.85. Field examples updated to prep fee, convenience/placement.
0.23.0, June 2026
- Your Price on the panel: When you are logged into Seller Central, your own live listing price now appears in green on the product panel, so you can see exactly where you sit against the market.
- Buy Box Spread inventory overlay: See your own FBA inventory positioned across the metro markets, with a unit-count badge near each market, when logged into Seller Central.
- Per-metro Buy Box prices: Buy Box prices now show for each market even when the overall spread is $0.
- Fetch My Prices in Bulk: Pull your own Seller Central listing prices onto the bulk result cards to spot replenishment opportunities at a glance.
- Seller Central access controls: A per-session consent gate governs reading your own Seller Central data (your inventory and your listing price). It runs only when you direct it, is shown only to you, and is never transmitted. Authorize once per session and pause at any time.
0.22.5, June 2026
- "Sold by" on every price point: Hover any point on the price chart and the tooltip now shows who held Keepa's Buy Box that day: Amazon (AMZ), a third-party FBA seller, or FBM. Works on both the product panel and the Bulk Analyzer.
- Velocity filter no longer over-passes dead products: Fixed a class of cases where a product that stopped selling could still pass the Min Monthly Sold check because its last-known sales figure was being carried forward into the current window. The filter now detects exactly when sales velocity ended and fails products whose selling stopped before your selected range.
- Cached sales-history dates fixed: Resolved a browser storage quirk that was silently corrupting the dates on cached monthly-sold and Amazon-price history, which could make range-based velocity checks misfire. Your cache is automatically refreshed on first load.
0.22.4, May 2026
- Min Monthly Sold filter fix: Products whose Amazon "Bought in past month" badge has gone stale (no recent badge updates) no longer slip through the velocity check. Dead products with old cached badge values now correctly fail.
- Velocity check follows your chart range: The mode previously labeled "Anytime in 90 Days" is now "Anytime in Selected Period" and respects your chart's selected time range (30d, 90d, 180d, 365d, or All), not a hardcoded 90 days.
- 3-Step tooltip accuracy: The "Sales Velocity" tooltip on the 3-Step Check bar now reflects the actual range being evaluated instead of always saying "last 90 days".
- Keepa parser hardening: Internal fix that prevents a class of silent failures where malformed Keepa data would poison the local cache and make every range-based velocity check return false regardless of the underlying sales data.

0.22.0, May 2026

- Scanner controls: Pause, resume, or cancel the scanner at any time with real-time progress tracking
- Consent dialog: First-time scanner use shows a plain-language explanation of what the scanner does, with a "don't show again" option
